Marianne Curley is an Australian author who has written young adult and children's fiction novels. She was born on April 20, 1959 in Windsor, a suburb of Sydney, Australia. She studied special education and worked as a teacher for several years before turning to writing full-time in 2000.
Curley's books include the Guardians of Time trilogy, Old Magic, Hidden and The Named. Her novels combine elements of fantasy, romance and adventure with a focus on themes of love, loss and fate. Curley's work has been published in several countries, including the United States, United Kingdom, Germany and Russia.
